Don't leave your fuel tap on or the inside of your engine will be as clan as the injector ;)

Τhank you for the tip ;)
I have used in the past the Lambretta version of the injector,
it was shorter and could easily fit under the panel,
the problem was that it couldn't breathe so you still had to run without a panel or make a hole in it :)
this one was clamping on a standard 20 mm S3 manifold like a normal carb.

I used to run one of these back in the sixties. In those innocent days we just bolted things on and they worked. I do remember having to run without the side panel, not for clearance issues but so I could put my hand over the intake to 'choke' it for starting.
