Hi.
Can anyone tell me what motor this is please? Thought it was a nice sx200 motor but I have my doubts.

Is that a neutral switch on the left hand side of the picture? My guess would be that the case is of Spanish origin

You're right you have a nice Spanish SX200 motor.

Nothing wrong with Spanish SX200 (Jet 200) motors/casings... every bit as good as Italian, just don't fetch the same money.

Is it a good motor to do some upgrades with? I'm going to strip it all down and do a fast motor for my TV175.
Or is it worth buying another motor and leaving this standard?

It's no different to any other "large block" Lambretta engine in terms of suitability for upgrading the top end.
Somewhat nullifies the ethos of your TV175 though....
