Spitting fuel from open mouth.

Hi guys , I run a ts1 and my carb throws out a considerable amount of fuel through the air intake / open mouth , is there a reason for this ? I am a layman at this scooter lark .

There could be several reasons such as worn reeds, over jetted and worn needle and atomiser. There will always be an amount of spitback even when everything is new.
