Hydraulic brake master cylinder

Can anyone advise what the bolt size (width, length and pitch) is for attaching mirror/other accessories to the master cylinder?

I think there maybe two common sizes.

Something like M8 and an M10 fine pitch.

I am sure a grown up will come along in a minute to clarify

Correct Martin and Lambretta Restore sell an adaptor to take either. I'm not a grown up though

If your using a nissin(or similar)master cylinder, the place where the rear view mirror is attached is an m10 thread.I think a standard Yamaha,Suzuki etc.rear view mirror fits.

Thanks guys. Already got a mirror (I could measure that it's at home and I'm in the middle of ordering a load of fixings) but this is to attach a bracket that will hold my SatNav. M10 fine pitch sounds right, just the length now that I'm not sure on

My mirror bolt thread length is about 15-20 mm at a guess and that's on a ScootRs type Nissin master cylinder.
