Hi All.
In My Haynes manual it states that the gear oil capacity is one & a quarter litres, but I can only get 550ml in before it comes out the level hole, I put it in very slowly, until it starts to come out, then wait about ten minutes before trying again (very slowly) but it shows it full, am I missing something I should be doing?

1.4 litres is about double what you need - when it comes out the level hole you've added enough.
What you should be doing is binning the Haynes and get Sticky's.

Thank you all for that.
Bike is running now, but carb leaks a bit, so just going to buy new one, too old to muck about trying to sort out old one.
