series 1 SIP speedo plus ignition switch - does it fit?

Postby bike grim » Wed Apr 12, 2017 6:09 pm

As above, I would appreciate any help in the form of pictures if any kind soul on here has successfully fitted both. There's not a lot of room in there. The routing of the wiring is the main obstacle. Fitting standard speedo and ignition switch is fine. And also standard kill button with SIP speedo is fine.
Thanks
Gareth

I fitted a SIP and ignition key, I had to enlarge the holes where the cables enter from the headstock to the horncover. Still a tight fit getting the plug ends through. I personally don't think SIP thought it out towards fitting to a series one, to much hassle and to messy looking for me. Would post photos but went back to standard speedo.
