Front parking light ?

My Series three does not have a battery and is 12 volt AC. My headlight is fitted with a festoon parking bulb ( or side light ).

Is this side light from a battery version or did these AC systems have a side light. I have my MOT soon and don't want a little thing like this to fail it. My main and dip and rear lights are fine.

For MOT you just need a main beam and dip on the front
