Can anyone recommend a good place to get a cast iron (GT240) cylinder bored in East London or Kent. Looking for someone with Lambretta experience preferably.
Cheers
Colin

Should have mentioned I work in Strood and commute from East London so was hoping for somewhere not too far from that route. The alternative is to find someone that offers a postal service. Jarv did mention a guy in Norfolk Jim but I'm only up at the weekends

I would second roger at TASS,
however if Margate is a stretch how about Medway scooters in strood? not used them myself but they've been there a long time, I don't know if they can do it on site though..
alternatively Atoms near Maidstone come recommended.
not sure about pure engineering firms (rather than scooter shops) I use one near Canterbury (hartlee engineering) but again its a stretch from London/strood..

I had thought about asking Medway Scooters, I have been there a few times for MOT's on my GTS and found them helpful. Doubt that they would have the means to do it themselves but might know someone local that can be trusted to do the job properly
