Could well be the clutch plates stuck together.
Can you still kick it over if you pull the clutch lever in ?

Sometimes, it is easier to select neutral without using the clutch - just twist the hand-gear selector from 1st or 2nd into neutral without pulling in the clutch lever. It does no harm, but I don't know what it proves.

Hi ,
Sound defiantly that the clutch plates are seized together with lying all that time.

Might select if you rock it
Might free off with some bump starts. Had the same on a yammy xt.

Hi,
Take her for a run, you should be able to change gear when you are on the road with the engine running. what to do if bump start her and jump on and drive, when she gets hot keep changing up and down the box, if you are lucky she will free off.
Cheers

Stuck plates if it's stood for a long time.

What I did on a couple of mates scooters was put the front wheel against a wall sit on the scooter foot on the back brake engine running, pull the clutch in and try to select second gear a few times, it will stall at first as it jumps into gear but normally after a few second gear selections it will free off.

Just make sure the clutch cable is adjusted tight, over tighten it a little at first, then Once the clutch frees off and you can select second and back to first then into neutral readjust the cable so there is just enough slack to allow the clutch to work properly.

Expected couple of jump starts as the plates slowly bed back in.

If this fails then it's time to dig a little deeper.

Good luck, Mark.
