Stock S2 no spark

Breaking my original Stock S2 Li125 out today while the sun is out and I broke it! It is still on points and condenser etc was running fine and now I do t have a spark. What is the best place to start first, any common problems to chase out first and continuity checks / resistance checks to try and isolate the problem - had similar issues on an Electronic ignition DL and got some pointers here for checking resistance on coils etc

With no battery and not running just wondering how to find the culprit!

Firstly, check out the ‘spark’, if available by removing the plug cap & exposing a bit of the HT lead core. Kick over to see if there is a spark. If you’re feeling brave, you’ll feel if there is anything there....

Next is the green lead from the junction box. Same procedure in kicking over to see if there is a spark (not so high a voltage this time!) This will also eliminate any shortcomings caused by the other wiring to the headset.

Let’s see how you get on with that.....

BTW. Non resistor plug caps preferred!
