Should the rear footboard hangers be welded to the outriggers?
And should engine mount cones be tight in the mounting hole?
Cheers

A few times, I have carefully removed the LH dogleg & made it removeable as per the RH side. The strut should also be slotted as per the RH side. (BTW, captive rivet nuts on any dogleg is a timesaving improvement, saving fiddling about with nuts & washers on the back face)
This enables a great ‘cheat’ in alignment of the footboard/side-panel gapping, for which I am sure we are far more critical of than when our Italian shopping machines were conceived & built
