That's how mine went but worse, tap was replaced by Scootopia.
I'm gonna take it out and check before using bike in anger for Scarborough.....might just go back to trusted OMG

I modify standard original taps,
I lose reserve action but I don't mind as I always ride in the reserve,(lever points down),
this way,the tap flows both reserve and standard at the same time,
flow rate is similar to OMG fast flow tap

The Scootopia tap is made of good components but, sadly, the assembly is obviously poor & as such is best considered as a 'kit' that needs checking thoroughly!

I prefer the compact dimensions to any other available because of the fact that big bore pipe fits & doesn't get kinked by the proximity to the engine mount.

As for the reserve, I always modify the amount to whatever I want by substituting tube of the length required. I find that bits of old telescopic radio antenna work well ;)

Mine has had less than a dozen tanks of fuel through it I'm not sure I'd trust another one from the same maker unless they gave some assurance that something had been changed to prevent the slow flow / non stopping / distorted rubber problems.
