While I'm there we can pull the cdi off the bike I'm on and see if that works.
I'm not going to be back home until late Wednesday now Marty.
Appreciate the offer though.

I know you've tried but give it another go with the green disconnected and the stator yellow out of the regulator , just to see.

Soz if this has been covered already but you've not swapped out stators for one that has the Indian market colours have you, which a pal of mine did recently? Once he had twigged to the colour differences his motor barked up immediately... but spent ages trying to find other causes before seeing the issue. In this case my pal was swapping a failed Italian one for a known working Indian one but then got the colours wrong.

And what happens when you spray Easy Start in the carb with the throttle open?
Easy start will wake up a corpse !

Yeah, what they said. I'll guide them up to yours from the hospital or stormont if that's any use.

Similar thing happened to me on the way back from Bulith Wells, ended up it was a bit of shite in one of the jets. Give all the jets a good blow through with compressed air

Send a letter in to Scootering.......would make a nice feature "Mission Impossible" they could oversee the diagnosis and repair with their own "in-House" mechanics.
