RB 250 casings choice

Looking for recommendations for which casings to use for this build , has anyone used Misano ?? Or what did you use ??

New uni case represents value for the money when they’ll finally be released.
If ur in a rush for one then the continental cases range from Richard Taylor would be the next step.
Tino’s Misano case is good with a very beefy crank but let down by using a 107 rod so that would need changing for ur RB kit
The ultimate is the casa case which is serious coinage,
I’m sure there’s a few more about out there that the names escapes me and I’m sure there will be a few more better informed adults will add below

+1 casa, big cranks, and smooth due to the mass which absorbs a lot of vibration,

Ive gone for the GT case, then machined at AF about £25 really pleased so far done about 600 miles made 26-27 hp and pulls like a train, power comes in really hard at 5500 rpm

The misano is by far and away the better choice for the big Rb motor IMO, the crank webs are huge, way bigger than anything on the market which means there is more meat to keep the pin from moving and therefore the crank twisting, The rod can be changed I have a 64 mm crank 125 rod. which for me is plenty. The casa and gt are very gud but I think missed a trick with the crank thickness. Beware a big rb motor doesn't mean big speeds tho itll be very torquey and reliable.

Ultimately the choice is yours, were lucky to have such a big choice now with casa, gts, watercooled gts, targas the choice is yours

Just to confirm that the casa casing also run a bespoke wider crank/bigger webs and have the capacity to run 64mm stroke and over crank shafts, with varying rod lengths, the casings/cranks are the same as whats run in their (casa) ssr/sst 265 motors, so more than capable coping with RB 250 and the like, lots of choice! what a conundrum to have!
