When u say horrible wrong ?
What let go ?
Who put crank in?
Tameni cranks are pretty very solid as an entry level performance crank.
Next step up would be SIP

+1-I build my own cranks and Tameni crank webs are very good, usually tight on the pin etc, the big ends and rods are fine to, what do you think has gone wrong? Big end?
