A pack of three

Postby Knowledge » Mon Nov 18, 2019 9:27 am

I stripped a mate's TS1 to change the piston but broke the base gasket during dismantling. I wasn't planning to re-use it, but I find that I don't have a 200 gasket to replace it.

I need to set the squish. Does someone sell a pack of three (?) gaskets of varying thicknesses to allow me to set the squish?

I am looking for recommendations. Thanks

(yes, I appreciate that I could omit the base gasket altogether and machine the head, but the scooter worked fine before I took it apart and I don't want to change the performance)

Chiggy Chambers sells a nice selection in various sizes, UK made from aramid and man-made mineral fibres bonded with nitrile rubber (but not ribbed). Ally ones as well.

Have a look at his web site: https://www.lambrettaupgrades.co.uk/app ... ow/5192823
