Steering lock

Are any pattern steering locks slightly narrower than others. Just had a right mare getting it in then knocked the Blooming thing in too far and couldn't shift it so ended up drilling it out trying not to scratch nice new paint Should have welded up opening. Never use stupid thing

I wouls say probably yes i usually use the Casa one in both Series1/2 and 3 and usually a good fit unless there is excessive paint in the opening

It was a casa one I destroyed so I tried an Indian one and it was slightly narrower. Bit of a rub round with emery paper and it went in without too much force
