I've always used Rolf seals and not had any issues on regulaty Ridden bikes.
They get changed as and when I rebuild but not had any failures.
I've got one scoot that's a bit of a show pony, doesn't get Ridden from one year to the next.
After a lay up the carb was fooked, green residue and jets blocked solid.
Cleaned it up replaced atomiser needle and jets would only start with loads of fuel down the throat and when it fired, smoked the workshop out like someone had stolen the drive side seal.
Is this ethonol at work?
Are viton seals the awnser?
Heard of issued in the early days of thier use anything to look for?

If the scooter is not used why put fuel in just clean the carb out and leave it dry.
