Sip rim on scootopia rear hub. Has anyone else found these really tight.

I had one that wouldn’t fit on standard rims two off the studs were off centre

Just got one , a little disappointed ,light surface rust and the SIP rims have to be forced on!
So dremmel time or send back?
Why can’t they get these things right ? the SIP rims are beautifully made and over the years I have never known fitting problems.

You really would not think it would be a problem getting it right. I have used a sil hub with no issues. I have had more niggly little issues with this rebuild than ever. Even the ally floor channel holes didn't line up. Easily sorted but unnecessary. I have taken a little off the hub. Not a lot. Just annoying as its been sprayed. Even lengths of cables vary between manufacturer. Why. Tell I'm stood down for a month time to moan
