Hi I have just stripped down my lambretta to find a strange frame number and engine number.
The scooter is a indian import the frame number looks like 3☆22/4☆22☆348030,
Engine number ☆447753☆,
Can any body indentify the model ??
I just tried to upload photos but file apparently too big

Never mind, I am sure a moderator will be along to move this to an appropriate section.
Is there something on the main LCGB Website about frame and engine numbers? Maybe.

i've had two late indian gp / vijay super mk 2 , both frames started 22/4 , i was told these frames and were used with various engine configurations, 125/150 and 200 engines. the next set of numbers is where the frame was destined for , in your case 22 is Lucknow, hope that helps, indian engine numbers often start 4.
