being stupid.....but not sure where to connect earth wire???
I know pink and black connect to left & right teminals....but not sure if one in middle is earth???

Middle connector pointing up should be an earth.

Try fitting a bulb in the fitting before you fit it to the scooter, and check that the two prongs make a good contact with the pins on the bottom off bulb. Sometimes, the prongs can even touch each other, creating a short ciruit.

It's easy to check now, but not so easy to check when the housing is fitted to the scooter.

not being funny, but i struggled to find a decent rear light for my GP.... the bulb holder are mostly rubbish...

I ended up cutting out the supplied bulb holder, and enlarging the hole to take a standard series 3 reflector...works much better
