Chaincase removal

Any tips on removing a stubborn chaincase. I've tried pulling the clutch arm to help pop the case of with the clutch pressure to no avail.
Any of you guys know of a better technique.
Seems the gasket sealant is doing a good job at holding the case on. Just thought I'd ask before I get heavy handed with it.
My only thought is to run a bit of gasket sealant remover around the edge and hope that soaks down enough to relieve the adhesion.
Any tips.

Blow torch around the gasket areas it’ll pop off then

My advice would be to use two to four of the M6 fixing holes as extractor holes. You may need to remove some M6 studs to tap M8 (tap hole is theoretically Ø 6.8) but this method should work & not be in any way destructive...

Have an assistant hold the clutch in whilst you tap the casing with a nylon mallet. This has always worked for me.

Thanks guys, I'll put all your advice to use and see if I can pop this chaincase off. I thought I'd get some advice before I go in too heavy and damage something. I dont remember it being this stubborn to take of previously, maybe I over did the sealant last time...

Are you sure that you havent got a bent stud that is binding on the side case?

All nuts removed, that was the first thing I checked.

Draining the oil I found this piece on the magnet. Something has obviously failed. Not much to go on but does anyone recognise what this may have come off. Anything from the kickstart or chain? Once I get the chaincase off hopefully the broken part wont be to evasive.
