Heard a rumour today that there may be an upgrade to the BGM pro clubman v4 to iron out power loss higher up the gears. Anybody know if its true as I am looking for a good exhaust for my Casa 185 upgrade, Casa recommend 42mm clubman and 25mm Dellorto but as its been out a while I was wondering if any thing better had come out.
I noticed there was a simular question asked but after I heard the rumour today though I would put it out there again.

The new BGM Clubman has moved from the prototype stage and into production, but as of yet (according to SCK) there is no confirmed date for release. Before you get excited, it's not aimed at replacing the V4, but as an addition to the range, as it's
specifically designed for high revving kits and comes with a muffler. There is plenty of info, including video, photos and dynograph etc.. over on the GSF.

I'd heard it was going to be a Straight Through (ST) box with an end can similar to the Ron Moss.

Well if that's how the end can is going to look, upswept and over the kickstart, then you might as well get an expansion because the box doesn't give the standard look anymore. I don't like that one bit compared to the Ron Moss ST and end can. Oh and no tailpipe clamp either!

So basically not enough grunt in a casa 185 upgrade fir it and should probably stick to the v4 clubman for more even ride through the gears

That’s just the prototype Rich from last year,It may or may not have changed although time will tell but I do agree with you that it sorts of defeats the standard clubman layout looking more like a VW type pipe with endcan.
