Very nice Craig, looking good.Nice paintwork 8-) Like how the forks are painted, just bare minimal paint still showing spotwelds and gaps where the strengtheners are, all too often lost with many painters lashing the paint on.

Another great thread Craig and love the deep quality of the paint finish. Is your new "Trevor the spray man," anywhere near Harrogate/Skipton area or is he up in your neck of the woods.

PS< can I have first option on some of your Lambrettas when you begin to sell your fleet.

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul,

The painter I've been trying is called Pete Gavey, he's from Darlington which is just down the road from me! Excellent work and at a cost which is much more inline with what I would expect!

As you can see from the examples in the pictures, his attention to detail is very good!

Bit more done this afternoon.

Headset rebuilt using MB brass bushes.

Cables and wiring are also in! I used BGM cables which seem really good. And the cables come with a guide on their routing if you need it!

Front hub fitted but needs the hydraulic brake fluid yet! MB hydraulic inboard brake conversion.

That's all for now.

Still an awful lot to do, but it's starting to take shape.

Far from finished yet Daz.

Yes my hubs just arrived. Looks excellent! Just needs to be painted silver and I'll fit it.

That leggie toolbox looks a super fit Craig, did you have to fettle it much? Also where did you get it? The only one I've fit is okish (the rubber hides a lot) but it did need some work

Not sure Steve, I think it was originally from Rayspeed. It's been scribed to fit these NOS legshields and the fit is very good.

A few details of stuff I've fitted to this scooter!

This is the Gamma technology RSTE 1000 control display unit. It's an excellent piece of kit and I've seen quite a few people using it to good effect!

Basically it reads Speed, revs, exhaust gas Temperature and cylinder head temperature. A host of other features can be customised too. Easy to fit and simple to use by the looks of it!

Image

Also from Gamma Technology is this waterproof socket for USB and also normal 12 v socket to charge phones and devices from the 12v battery, which is in turn charged by the DC output of a BGM regulator.

Image

A headset thumb operated choke lever from Taylor tuning is there to allow you to add a little choke to cool the head it the temperature rises which will be displayed on the gamma RSTE with a warning indicator!

Image

Cyclone 5 speed box with an F1 grade steel cluster and gear change.

More details to follow.

It's gonna be a thing of beauty, the attention to detail, the spec, the fit is all top notch, hats off to you.

At this rate you'll be getting requests for RS type 'dealer' specials.

Love the red '5' on the gearchange. :D

A few more bits and pieces.

I've fitted a good few Rimini Lambretta seats to my Lambrettas and this one is no exception. Quality is second to non and the fit, look and comfort are great too. This one is an original Guiliari slopeback base which has been slightly modified to alow clearance of the frame at the back and also a recess cut in the side to allow you to remove the sidepanel without catching the seat catch.

Also just received these 14mm seat fixing kit from Scootopia which have the correct IVS 80 stamp on the bolt head.

This is an original Innocenti inboard disc brake converted to hydraulic operation by MB Developments. It's been rebuilt using a complete array of MB parts including the grease nipples, spindle, top hats, spacers, seals, speedo drive etc etc etc.

Might not be the best of brakes but it does work and looks good too! I'm going to fit an air scoop to it also! Aesthetics are important!

Another superb part from Scootopia are these original design Osam AC light switch. They look and feel spot on too! Even comes with stamped lock and keys to match!

Also some other quality MB parts, the rear brake pedal, choke lever and petrol lever.

Like the seat, toolbox and Garmin stuff Craig. I saw the RLC Peagus seat at Brid that looked the part. But I think you have one. If so, is it comfy as well as a looker ?

Ultimate comfort Paul. There are two types of these RLC Pegasus as you may know.

These are the series 1 & 2 type. But do look good on a series 3 also.

And the one fitted to my TV200 is the series 3 type.
