Mudguard mounted tax disc holder

Does anyone know anything about this type of tax disc holder - could you still get anything like this or even might it be repairable? Some of it was attached to the front mudguard of my LI125 S3 and the other part was in the toolbox and I thought it might be neat to try to save if at all possible?

Search on ebay “Lambretta tax disc holder.” You can get ones very similar quite cheaply. You can also get reprinted old Italian tax discs to fit.
