I seem to recall several years back that it was a struggle to get a series 3 electronic loom to fit a Series 2. Is the Series 2 wiring longer and, if so, does anyone sell such a thing?

My indian S2 uses a generic 12v electronic harness from AF, cant recall any issues fitting it.
Fitted with S3 engine.
Cdi and regulator positioned above rear mudguard on a mounting plate using the original bracket

Casa Lambretta starting making different looms for Series 1s several years ago, but Series 2 and Series 3 still share a common Casa loom.

Thanks for the replies. I rebuilt a Spanish Series 2 the best part of ten years ago. The wiring at the back end was tighter than I’d have ideally wanted. I can’t remember what make loom it was.

Thanks, Paul. I haven’t decided whether to fit a battery tray yet. I’ll be in touch
