Does anyone have experience of having a Lambretta flywheel magneto re magnetised? How much did it cost?
Is there a place in Surrey?

Had one done at Scootopia about four years ago- it was a Ducati points flywheel and cost me about £40 if memories serves me

I have a feeling that scooter surgery in Hammersmith do them. Not Surrey, but close.

Thanks for the replies and information. Ref: Ducati 6 volt points flywheel re magnetised.
I had the flywheel re magnetized at All styles Portsmouth. They tested it first and found a couple of the magnets
were "down" a lot. It cost £20.00 while I waited.
Starting was a little difficult and the headlight not as bright as it could be. All is now sweetness and light - starting OK
and headlights excellent.
I will not be changing to 12 volts or electronic ignition.
