Are you using Sticky's book? Just take each problem one step at a time and post your questions on here preferably with photos and you'd be amazed at the help you will get 8-)
Here to help ;)

A lack of confidence can be a plus, you'll be sure to check more thoroughly.
Read stckys a number of times before starting a task , then when you do it it will make more sense.
Take your time and protect your paint. Don't force anything and if it's not going well stop and go back to it.

And above all enjoy it.

Ps you have an active club the Saxons, nice people.

Hi all who responded

Thanks for all the tips and encouragement and the information sent

I will plod on
Today I extracted the hub screws from the hubs front and rear in readiness for using the SIP tubeless wheels

This went well following stickys book and other information available and being careful

Learning from this
Do not powder coat hubs the coating is to thick hubs will require blasting and spray coating wasted effort and monies

If there is anyone around Hastings to support I am still here

Cheers All Terry

I found the Scooter Restorations catalogue invaluable when I built my Lammy, this was before the publication of Sticky's book. The exploded diagrams are very useful.
These days, however, Sticky's book is the first reference for most things Lambretta.

No it's ok mate, what I meant was that neither manual adequately describes how to set up a phbh carb and the lads on here helped me set mine

I've lost track of this, who is after the help with the carb, Revvers or Baroda?

If you describe the top end set up and exhaust being used I'm sure assistance will come.

I think I may have confused things here!! I just mentioned that I didn't think either book helped me with my carb set up, but people on here did!! Sorry!
