whats the size of a lambretta big end bearing?

From memory

Standard Innocenti LI to GP Italian were 22.9x28x16

Then came aftermarket cranks, SIL GP etc at 22x28x16 - which is now the most common

You wouldn't be able to get it on the crank pin.

ah yeah, very true, that's a shame as I've got a good condition SX crank that came out of a reliable motor of mine years ago and I foolishly didn't store it away properly and some of the rollers have rust spots on them. Just needs a new bearing as there is hardly any wear on the rod (0.20)

It came in a con rod kit I was going to put in my S2 crank which was siezed but being cheap the quality is @@@@, get what ya pay for so just bought a decent GP crank and con rod.
Gonna make me own con rod just to see what it turns out like and pick up another GP crank with big end gone to build up for my Special

That conrod looks a bit thick,make sure it fits between the webs of a GP crank.

Yes it is thick because this is only half of the profile cut off on the saw. I have made a jig to sit this in to finish the other side down to thickness.
I used the conrod I got in the kit as a sample but not sure if this was a good example so might borrow a better quality one to copy. I know it seems a waste of time and I'm only doing it because I can not because I need to.

Some bearing dimensons are also 22x29x16 some AF,MEC UR types use these dimension bearing as are indian GP200 rod/bearings.
