Right, going to get one of these puppies http://www.acewell-meter.co.uk/Acewell% ... full&id=19 for the Series 2 but wanted to know from other users about what magnet sensor they used for thiers so I get the right one?

There seems to be a few different ones out there?

Magnetic bolt supplied. tapped a hole in front wheel and mounted pickup on bracket on fork link. ran cable down fork tube as original

ah right, wasn't clear if one was already supplied or not I have to admit.

It was you that made a spacer to fit yours wasn't it? Did it actually need this and where did the spacer go exactly?

I fitted a wheel from a Piaggio Zip, spacers were to centralise it. Speedo sensor is fixed to a plate welded to shock link

So the speedo itself fitted straight into the headset without issues?

I made a 3/8 thick spacer from nylon that fits between headset and speedo and shortened the wiring using small connector plugs. All then fitted under headset cover
