Spark plug spec for standard TV3 and Silencer

Postby 911hillclimber » Sun Mar 08, 2015 5:48 pm

Standard TV3, 175cc.

Which plug specification is the best please?

Also, which exhaust is closest to a standard one?
I'm thinking of a real AF twin pipe but might be too loud?

Those twin pipes of AF don't do much for performance and they are very loud. Spark plug wise NGK B7es should do you. On tuned engines B8es or B9es. There are other makes about but I don't know their codes.

Thank you Nick.
Seems anything away from standard is noisy, not what I want for the scooter.
The AF's etc all seem cheaper than the stock ones...

I think the AFs are cheaper because they are most likely made in India and in larger quantities. KBA's are the Indian exhausts that are AF's. Almost identical
