Has anyone got any jetting advice on a 25mm dellorto running through the air box no filter 225 cast iron, would rather be on the rich side if possible.

Any set up advice greatly appreciated

Thank you.

I don't think its a very common carb choice for 225s, might be why the replies are slow.

No doubt having said that there will be hundreds who've used it ...

I've got the same carb on my Stage 4 200 tuned by DSC, through the airbox (drilled and with the cone removed, BGM filter and MBGM Clubman.

Jetting is the same as yours except 105 main

Thanks lads I was starting to get a complex :D

It has a 26 mm Jetex on at the moment which has been great, except for an issue with hot starting, which I am hoping the 25 mm Phbl will sort out. The main reason for going for the 25 mm is so I can run through the air box, without having the jetting all over the place.

Cheers.

Worth bearing in mind that MB now sell 'big bore' air boxes which should preclude the need to drill holes in a standard box.

Pilot....50
Atomiser...AQ268
Needle...D26 clip third one down.
Slide......40
Main Jet..102
Float needle valve 250

This is running through the air box no holes, with the filter now, 48 mm clubman.

Updated, still not quite happy with it yet.

Plug is a light brown colour, ideally would like it to be a bit richer.
