And if all that wasn't enough there's the Legendary Kracken Kebab to get through

Ride safe everyone taking part, lets hope for some sunshine

Ahh, my engine is already in, but nothing is connected yet. I guess we're not the only ones in this position Scooterlam....

Looking forward to it again this year. Had to be recovered thirteen miles from Seahouses last year so my last success was over Hardknott. Just need to sort camping out at the NE side. Still waiting for a few engine parts to fit this weekend. Part of the achievement is leaving it to the eleventh hour!

My first long run after my IOW woes last year! More spares than ever being packed and all fingers crossed. Travelling up from Stoke-on-Trent on the Friday afternoon so hopefully see everyone up there!

I suppose the question I should've asked was has anyone been over the pass in The last 18 months or so ? Because judging by the state it was in 2 years ago if it hasn't been repaired we'd all best prepare for some off roading ! :| Anyone ?

it is what it is Hardnott pass. You just have to be careful, and go round the pot holes, I cycled over it last summer and it didn't seem any worse than what it usually is, admittedly I could of pushed it quicker, but should be faster next weekend. I'm sure Toot will be up there with a few helpers putting the signs up, and could come back with an up to date view !

Is that a spare pair of undies in there for when you get the the bottom of the other side of the pass!

Oh... and the state of the pass as of last weekend was Wrynose wasn't too bad but the the top section (steepest) of Hardknott where you descend to Eskdale was pretty poor as in large pot holes and gravel on the tight steep bends. :o
