The "York Avanti Crew" are all set to go.......all-be-it with a top end knock that I can't fathom, maybe a few hundred miles will find the problem :?

and the paint sprayer is a w*nker and the skelly look is not deliberate

Remember your LCGB membership cards so we can issue wristbands quick and easily at Saltburn, Saturday morning. (Or Friday night if you are calling in at the Spa)

No wristband, no free members event goodies and more importantly no service at the bar at St. Bees :o

New LCGB memberships taken on the day, if you're bringing along non-member riding companions ;)

Not happy. Rode scoot to work this morning to ready myself for this weekends 830 mile round trip by doing 8 miles of motorway  - fine. Get onto local bypass & it coughed, spluttered & ground to a halt. I coasted for 100 yards, put it in gear & it fired up again & got me to work. ''Got to be electrical'' I thought as I have had this problem years back, & then it was the pick up breaking down. As the stator is about 15 years old I bombed to Allstyles dinnertime & brought a new stator & spare ducati cdi, there's also petrol weeping onto the exhaust manifold. I now have two evenings to sort this out or I ain't going.

Lets hope so Toddy. After two years trouble free rallying I've had nothing but agg this year. Did three miles to Sandford (modra) when the clutch circlip decided to make a run for it & the corks & steels followed. Couldn't do Scarborough because I had to go football & this is my third attempt on doing a rally this year. I've uprated everything, nylon lined cables, brown viton seals, new jap bearings, nylon chain guides, new chain & sprockets, 5 plate clutch, new piston, tubeless tyres, spent a fortune & haven't got anywhere yet. It's giving me the raging hump.

New stator, Ducati cdi, two new plugs, agusto fitted, strobed correctly, fuel getting through, healthy spark, runs 4-5 miles then coughs and splutters to a halt. I've got eight hours to get to the bottom of this or its no C2C for this cat.
