I had a bit of trouble finding proper genuine Piaggio clutch inners last year when I rebuilt the engine. I ended up getting a complete cable from Wasp Performance, just to get the decent inner!
I may give these a try next time. Let us know what the quality is like if you get some.

I had to borrow a gear cable from a mate when rebuilding the pig as I bust one refitting the selector box. The cable he gave me was thinner than the usual ones, much more flexible and appeared braided rather than twisted.

I don't know what type it was.

I thought it was a Tiger Moth but I'm relying on memories of Airfix.

I wouldn't do that if I were you ;)

In my opinion well worth fitting with nylon lined outer. They really improve the ease of clutch operation. All my scooters have 6 plate clutches with competition springs and you can pull the clutch lever in with two fingers. I fitted mine after a pretty bad accident that damaged my left wrist so badly I really struggled to pull in the clutch with a standard cable. I think it was Ian Frankland that suggested changing to braided clutch cables to give easier operation. It certainly worked for me.

I can't remember the last time i had a non aircraft  grade cable snap to be honest, but then I tend to ensure i use nylon lined sets, properly lubricated and routed and ensure that the trunnions are copper greased etc. So im quite happy with my 1.50 inners 8-) 8-)

That's fine Paul but I'm quite happy paying a little more - you can't take it with you. ;)
