I was lucky enough to take the BSG 305 out on the road for a test ride, great fun.
Dean gives some info about the 305 at the end of the video.

I don't think Eden actually got off it, he must have been physically removed from it :lol: Very Very impressive.

De-tuned by 10bhp and still pulling 90mph with a badly slipping LTH clutch. Hmmm. It is another world.

ive got some video of the barrel and cases which ill get uploaded during this week.
They stripped it down when I took it back on Friday afternoon and sorted the clutch and also changed the gearing to make it longer. Ive got some of the strip down on video too :)

Sticky's forthcoming article in scootering will answer most questions people may have and look for an article in Jet Set about the weekend.

All i'm going to say for now is that it was a privilege to be able to take it out to play on the road. Words or video can't get across what its like to ride, its just bonkers :shock:

Great weekend, we also all got to ride the SX prototype twins and a rare tut tut type 3 wheeler that Vittorio brought along which was a right laugh.

I watched all of the footage & was impressed greatly. Clutch slip aside, you certainly weren’t afraid of revving it out! That bike would be a serious ‘licence loser’.

I’m intrigued as to the choice of gearbox, though.

I think I only counted 4 gears, must have plenty of torque due to the extra capacity. Can't wait to hear more about the spec of this engine 8-)

I believe the price is for the engine plug and play yes.

That's impressive...thanks for sharing it. Can't wait to see one out on the road. If you think a lot sports bike owners will spend upwards of £10k on their bikes then this at whatever the final price it retails at will in my eyes be Worth it. The cushdrive idea is also very sensible with that sort of power.

Proper mental...! I'm always telling my Mrs that Lambretta's are never finished, well that motor takes it to a new level in the "I've got a little winter project planned" department.... wonder if i'll get away with telling her they cost "just a bit more than me RB250"....honest love....... :lol:
