Mates Lambro

Postby Shaun » Sat Jun 06, 2015 6:55 pm

I have a mates Lambro on loan for a few weeks and tomorrow I am riding/driving it to Bristol to meet the BLC.
So here it is:

Original paint, and very solid.
Upgraded to 200cc and a 28mm Delortto, nippy enough and happy at 45mph but will pull more.

Now, as I have a 25mile ride tomorrow to Bristol, I was working what tools would be best to take, after a lot of thinking and choosing I settled on the 1 tool every Lambretta rider needs and proceeded to put it in the back:

On a more serious note, I am only dropping the Lambro off and then riding home hence the alternative transport.
Am I brake riding a lambro with a V*spa in he back and spare S2 frame ??
No need to worry, he already packed me a big pair of balls:

You should have had that FLI Andy, everyone needs to own at least one lambro in their life.
Just so they know what its like to be pointed and laughed at by the general public

It was faultless today, and back in the hands of my mate.

Youre right Shaun, really should have had it. Needed a complete restoration but wasnt that bad, needed work to the cab and the doors but was complete and the engine wasnt even seized.Had a big carb and some kind of tuned pipe so in its day was probably a fair bit quicker than a standard one.. ;)
