Hi gents
Just a bit of a update, stripped the carb, fuel tap and tank and all full of the rusty red crap that as in jonnyxs photos.
So I swapped tanks, bought a new fuel tap ( back entry ), fitted a new air filter, new fuel pipe and stripped down the carb
A few things that I had done wrong, trapped the fuel banjo rubber, put it back together with no choke elbow, set the banjo at the wrong position and some how put the float bowl wrong way round
I have also fitted a magnet to the bottom of the tank to catch any metal particles floating about
Thankfully I had two good mates from my club come round and sort me out as well and they also advised not to run the tank below half full wherever possible to stop anything being dragged through
Now kicks over second time and runs sweet, thanks for all the advice
Cheers
