Jonoy, I had a problem with my front 'standard' width AF tubeless rim, in that a Tesco air compressor nozzle bottoms out on the rim, making it imposible to inflate, and Tesco nozzles are pretty generic amongst most petrol forecourts.
I bought a couple of valve extenders from 'JustLambretta' (Martin Hyland) during this years Coast to Coast, and just keep one in the tool box (you can leave them on if you prefer) as & when I need to inflate the tyre.
On the rear, Ben at AF recommended a 'wide' rim to get over the problem you're having, as the valve sits slightly further away from the edge, enabling the nozzle to go on ok, & the valve must be slightly longer on the 'wide' rim, as it seats ok & inflates without the extender.
Apparently the problem is these rims were designed for european market, where forecourt nozzles must be slightly shorter. In fairness to SIP, once the problem with the UK market came to light, they sent out extenders FOC.
When I queried the problem with AF, they said they were unaware of the issue..........which I find a little odd to say the least.
I've also swapped my standard hub nuts for the longer ones (can be a pig of a job), as there's obviously more thread for the supplied dome nuts to bite onto.
What I've also discovered is that they do tend to need re-inflating every few weeks or so, which is a pain.
.......................wish I'd stayed with trad' split rims
