Scooter starts okay on choke and runs okay. Push the choke in the engine has warned up and it just stops. Won't run without choke
Help please

is it a std carb just had a similar problem on a jet turned out to be a blockage in the brass restricter next to the mouth of the carb (on the left as you look straight at it) that feeds air to the pilot circuit prodded it out with a piece of 1mm welding rod ,runs fine now

Out of the blue, that happened to me last Thursday on a 22mm dellorto. Suspected a dirty pilot jet and that's what the problem was.

So, cleaned pilot jet with a blast of carb cleaner. And for good luck, cleaned rest of carb jets and holes with spray carb cleaner. Runs OK now.
