Series 2 Rear Running Board Leg Rubbers

Guys -- Stupid question but what's the best way of fitting the rear rubbers that fit over the rear running board legs to rest against the inside of the panels? Am I being a trumpet but cant figure it out. hahaha - G

Hi, the method I used was to put both rubbers into boiling water and use some lube on legs,I used Vaseline.Then take rubber on fixed leg then slide on with rounded face downwards and then push on and up and twist rubber around to have rounded face outwards .On other leg should be able to push down from top . Hope this may be of some help ,regards Dennie.

Good Tip, I generally struggle with them using a hairdryer to warm up

Ha! Did this job only the other day. Exactly as Dennie said only I slid them up from the bottom onto an already assembled leg.

5 mins in boiling water and they should slide on fairly easily, that's how I've done it in the past
