Series 3 rear mudguard fit series 2

Just wondering, i recently brought a rat series 2 but no rear mudguard, i have a spare series 3 one but need to know if it fits and wont rub or anything...

Trev I know the series 2 have different fastening holes from the frame to a series 3 I don't know size wise though or if you could drill and modify ?

ive sorted it now, i ended up buying a series 2 one...
