just putting together a engine and using a stock 20mm delly and manifold which I bought from separate sources, problem being is the manifold is way too large to insert (oh er...

) into the carb body, any decent tricks or tips to get the buggers to fit without knackering anything? cheers Paul

Sure the manifold isn't intended for a 22mm carb?

Either find someone with a lathe who could turn down the spigot to the correct size or set too with a file ( might take a while though )

Nope it the right type Adam 19.41.1004, the 20mm is off a serveta while the manifold is italian, don't know if this makes any difference, its just bloody tight
