Technical help for Series one, two and three Lambrettas. Models include the Li, Li Special, TV, SX, GP, Serveta and API/SIL models

Just stripped a Spanish LI motor, wanting to upgrade to modern alloy kit but still retain a 20 or 22 standard carb & the smaller bore exhaust. I thought the V1 mugello years ago could take this set up but I'm not really up to speed with the kits available now.
Any info appreciated - thanks

Faster kits around but you need to look at cranks gears etc. You can keep what you have with a chain and front sprocket up size and it will pull like a train. Some say you will have problems getting Pistons but mainly coz they don't go wrong. Everyone has pistons and rings for a Muggy
