SX200 Mud Guard

Did the early 1966s Italian SX200s have fibreglass mud guards? If so, when did they get changed to steel?

My bike had a fibreglass one but I know it was a replacement for broken one. When restoring should I go for a fibreglass or steel one?

The fibreglass mudguards were fitted to the TV.
