I run mine with 30 PHBH, Fran Supertourer and Agusto 6000 unit. My ignition range is something like 24 to 14 degrees, which might help as a starting point for your Varitronic (subject to varitronic ignition curve).

Just got back from Newark (80 mile) did 60+ (GPS) on the A1 all the way back without a sniffle, it accelerates from 60 quite easily but mid 70's seem to be it's limit (with my set-up).
I can't fault my Avanti but it's not a kit for a "Street Racer" (yet!!). An Avanti may give the RB a bloody nose but it would have to be an 100 mile "sprint"

Fitted the M-Tech at 24 degrees and it's cleared up the bottom end massively. No problems starting (hot or cold) although slightly boggy mid-range but i can live with that.
I think the Race exhaust doesn't like the low rev's and is the "problem". But it's a problem you can live with when you're on the motorwaysNot nice to ride around town but is there such a set up that gives town riding and motorway power ?
