This is not a rideout is it? Isn't it just a days riding with predetermined points to stop at ?

Its what you want it to be.
peejay has agreed to lead a group.
Route guides will be provided so you can do your own thing.
And Ive heard an unoffical "Scream if you want to go faster" group may happen.

Although this run starts in/near Southampton (Hants) i would have thought the main route will take you through the county of West Sussex. This is more the heart of the National Park and has some stunning roads with great views. Maybe even as far as Brighton.

My only decision is which scoot to ride. Hooray a 'southern' event!

If its well supported, I'm sure there will be more. So bring your mates and show them what a lcgb style event is all about.

In 2012 which was the last running of the Southdown's when it Started from Winchester and ended in Eastbourne. This was all it managed to draw in, So here's hoping a rideout loop encourages a few more riders from the southern corner.

There were plenty of these visitors in attendance

The South Downs is a great idea, and I'm sure that given the renewed interest in riding rallies it will attract more people this time round. I'm really looking forward to it 8-)
