Wheel rim close to engine casing

Postby Covboy » Sat Feb 20, 2016 4:42 pm

Hi all

Just fitted a wide alloy AF rim to my Italian GP. The rim is very close to the engine casing at one point - maybe 2-3mm.

It spins freely and does not catch the casing. My question is is this normal and is it safe?

if the rim's clear then its clear, I'd be more concerned regarding the tyre, hows the fit with the casing front & sideways?
