Rapido Classic 225cc Piston to bore clearence

Taking my Classic Rapido barrell for a well needed hone and gonna fit a used but excellent condition low mileage Asso piston to it and new rings, spoke to the chap at Boretech in Sussex who was happy to do it and said bring the piston and clearance figure and I will hone and check it. got piston but really not sure what clearance to tell him......anyone help, thanks

I've used Rapido barrels only with Suzuki, Wiseco or SR pistons aiming @ 3-1/2 thou (0.0035") with a Ø 66 to Ø 67 mm bore.

Asso users may have better advice.

Look for 4 thou clearance, and you'll be fine
