22mm carb on a mugello 198

Hi

I was wondering if you can run a Scootpia 22mm carb on a Mugello 198, it will have a Ancillotta exhaust as i want to keep it looking standard even with the panels off , I know it wont run to its full potential

thanks

Why not try one of AF's 26mm reamed Jetex. Still look standard and will fulfill a lot of the kits potential. I have had two of them with great success, one on a 186 Mugello and one on a Rapido Classic 225,

I run one of AF's 26mm Jetex's on my Stage 4 200 SIL Lump with a 42mm clubman -- Its a wee bit lumpy lower down but once into 3/4 throttle & above it goes very, very well. I'd recommend for sure too.

dont you think a 26mm is to big running though the airbox? i take it is anyway due to "standard looks"? can the engine get enough air?

As I said, I have run them on 2 bikes with undrilled airboxes with excellent results.

I don't see any reason why not. I'm planning on using one on an MB bgm 225 through the airbox with Scootopia "Ancillotti"
